Shanks Photography is a small family studio run by Tony and Mickey Shanks, a husband and wife team who care about providing you the best quality wedding and portrait photography you'll treasure for a lifetime.
Mickey is our full time photographer and graphic artist. She does all of our album and card design. Prior to photography, Mickey worked for Target Corporation as a webmaster for one of it's internal divisions. She left Target in 2000 to pursue additional education and gained an associates of arts degree in visual communication. A major aspect of visual communication is imagery so she added professional photography education and is now a member of the Professional Photographers Association, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International and an online photographers association called the "Digital Wedding Forum".
Tony is our part-time photographer and assists Mickey on portrait and wedding sessions in the evenings and on weekends. Tony's love for photography started many years ago when our children were small. He has a great sense of style and composition and his imagery is pleasantly creative. During the week he creativily customizes software programs for companies across the nation.
Alyssa is our all around assistant. She assists us in photo sessions, processes imagery and is our administrative assistant. Alyssa is learning the art of professional photography and has photographed many of her ebay items using our cameras and lighting equipment. She learns quick and has been a life saver for us as we continue to build Shanks Photography. She is also a wife and mom to 3 children, 2 boys and a girl.

After a consultation with the bride (and of course the groom, if he'll come) we will help you choose a wedding plan that fits your needs. Frequently asked Questions
Where are my wedding images?
Your images are located by clicking the {CLIENTS} menu link on our wedding portfolio site. After clicking, a new window will open to reveal a gallery list of clients. Select the event and enter the password provided by the studio.
Can I save my favorites?
Yes, once you've added images to your favorites, log-in to save or retrieve them. If you have not logged in before you have an opportunity to create an account which just stores your email and passord so we can tell who's favorites to display.
Can I save my cart?
Yes, save it in the same way you save your favorites as mentioned above.
How do I order wedding pictures?
Click the {Clients} menu link on our wedding portfolio site. A new window will open displaying the available client galleries.
Click on one of the galleries. (probably should stick to the people you know, you'll need the password for the next step)
Use the password provided by the photographer or client.
Add the images you desire to the cart. When you're ready to pay, click the view cart link above the products tab. (you'll have an opportunity to delete from the cart when viewing the cart)
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Just select the call me for payment and Shanks Photography will call you to take your card number over the phone.
Do you accept checks?
Yes, we accept checks mailed to us however there will be a delay in your order as we will wait until the check clears the bank before we process your order.
I didn't get my confirmation email?
The spam filter on your email account may have dumped it into the junk mail. Check your junk mail for an email from mickey@shanksphotography.com
