Do you suggest we see each other before the wedding so we can get pictures then?
We do suggest that you see each other before your wedding but we do not demand it. We have found that couples who allow us to set up a special time for them to see each other for the first time really enjoy the experience and are glad they did. We capture your initial reaction to each other in a setting that is free from stress and private. After we capture your initial reaction, we get pictures of the two of you together in a more relaxed state when there are less demands for your time from other people at your wedding. After the ceremony, your time is limited and you feel the pressure to attend to your guests, and that is understandable and natural. Here is a link to a similar question on theKnot. How do I book my wedding with you?
Once we've notified you that your date is available, simply use the make a payment link at the footer of this page, and pay our retainer fee of $100 and then download our contract, fill in any details you're sure of, sign it and either mail it or drop it off. Once we recieve both the retainer and the signed contract your date will be secure. Don't worry if you do not know all wedding details, you can let us know later.
Where are my wedding pictures?
Your pictures are located by clicking the event proofing link at the footer of this page or our home page. After clicking, a new window will open to reveal a gallery list of clients. Select the event and enter the password provided by the studio.
Can I save my favorites?
Yes, once you've added images to your favorites, log-in to save or retrieve them. If you have not logged in before you have an opportunity to create an account which just stores your email and passord so we can tell who's favorites to display.
Can I save my cart?
Yes, save it in the same way you save your favorites as mentioned above.
How do I order wedding pictures?
Click the event proofing link at the bottom of this page. A new window will open displaying the available client galleries.
Click on one of the galleries. (probably should stick to the people you know, you'll need the password for the next step)
Use the password provided by the photographer or client.
Add the images you desire to the cart making sure you select a size for the picture. When you're ready to pay, click the view cart link above the products tab. (you'll have an opportunity to delete from the cart when viewing the cart)
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Do you accept checks?
Yes, we accept checks mailed to us however there will be a delay in your order as we will wait until the check clears the bank before we process your order.
I didn't get my confirmation email?
The spam filter on your email account may have dumped it into the junk mail. Check your junk mail for an email from mickey@shanksphotography.com
